Since its inception, ASSM has been active in providing safety awareness and training workshops and seminars for hospitals within Switzerland. These have been presented with the aim of drastically reducing the incidence of human error in complex day-to-day operations and activities.

Some health institutions already operate anonymous reporting systems, others are in the process of introducing them and some have yet to decide upon this course of action. ASSM can advise on and provide the required software for establishing and operating a critical incident reporting system within the organisations intranet.
