Captain Timothy Crowch

 Timothy is a former Senior Commercial
Airline Captain. The last 25 years of his 32 year career were spent
with Swissair and previous experience was gained in all aspects
of civil air operations. For over 20 years he has been a recognised
and tireless contributor to the world of Aviation Safety and System
Safety Management. This experience covers the spectrum from safety
training, safety programme establishment and management, advising
on flight and ground operations to incident and accident investigation.
Safety management extends to system safety management in other
transportation and complex systems, most recently including Switzerland’s
healthcare industry (Hospitals & Private Clinics). His qualifications
and present activities also include those required for technical/expert
witness services (within the USA & UK) with experience in testifying
in mediation and litigation cases. Activities in London include
forensic investigation for the legal and insurance markets.
He
is a regular speaker on aviation operational safety issues at Safety
Conferences and Seminars and a contributory writer to a number
of leading professional publications. He is an active Member of
the International Society of Air Safety Investigators, a Member
of the Expert Witness Institute in London and a Fellow of the Royal
Aeronautical Society.
